Muskoka’s Pride Marine Group has become the first multi-location marina to be Five Star Industry certified in Canada.

The certification is a process in which the marinas document their processes so that they can consistently deliver quality experiences. The Marine Industry Certification Program is designed to ensure that buying and maintaining a boat are pleasant experiences.

To become certified, a dealership must demonstrate their commitment to excellence by meeting high standards in key areas such as operations, facilities, professional sales and service, customer satisfaction ratings, employee training, and satisfaction and quality control.

“I am very proud of my crew members for their hard work and help in the process of becoming certified,” said Nickel. “Each one of us should feel very proud of this accomplishment. This year represents our 23rd year in business and without the support of family, friends, customers and suppliers we would not have been able to achieve this honoured distinction. Less than half of one per cent of the marine industry in North America has met or exceeded these standards.”
